Love the way the stars near the corners are framed … a nice contrast to the other blocks.
Christmas is approaching … a group of quilters yesterday spent more time discussing Christmas shopping than fabric shopping!

read moreNice one, and with that many blocks it would have very small blocks for a lap quilt, more normal sized blocks for a king size bed.
I rather like the second one, but both have one fault repeated four times … no coloured square in the border corners. The big question is should they be red or green?
read moreI like it! I have never been a fan of quilts made with one block design repeated all over.
I much prefer to break the monotony of stitching up a great pile of identical blocks, and I like seeing the interest just a few different blocks added to the quilt top make.

read moreLike the first offering for today … could be just a general quilt, with just enough of the Christmas colours to be seasonal.
Mind you, in Australia we rarely need a quilt during the Christmas break, which is why I have a Christmas quilt with no wadding!
Change the background colour, add a little more red, and it is a little more like Christmas!
